Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is an undergraduate professional degree which prepares students for work as a teacher in schools. Bachelor of education is a 2 years undergraduate professional course meant for individual who are interested in making career in teaching field. Being an undergraduate course, Bachelor of education still, requires one to complete graduation from recognised universities. According to NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education), it is mandatory for all teachers to complete graduation from a recognised university.
Pursuing a B. Ed. course not only teaches you to inculcate good teaching skills but also how to the work in the administrative aspect of an education system. The course curriculum teaches prospective teachers how to play their part in making a healthy education structure.
ELIGIBILITY: –
• Candidates with at least 50% marks in aggregate either in Bachelor’s Degree and / or in the Master’s Degree in Science / Social Science /Humanities/ Commerce or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the program.
• Candidates with at least 55% marks in aggregate in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology and specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the program.

ELIGIBILITY: –
Bachelor’s Degree in school teaching subject with not less than 50% marks (ii) Bachelor’s Degree school teaching subject with not less than 45% marks AND at least 50% marks in Master’s Degree Examination in the same school teaching subject in which the candidate has applied. (iii) Applicants for teaching of Commerce must possess a Master’s Degree in Commerce with at least 50% marks. (iv) A candidate must have passed at least two teaching subjects up to graduation/ post graduation level. However, a compulsory subject likes General Urdu/ General English/ Compulsory Hindi will not be accepted as teaching subjects. (v) Applied discipline / Subjects such as Mathematical Physics, Electronics, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bio chemistry, B.Sc.(H) Nautical Science, Molecular Biology, B. Tech in any stream etc. will not be considered as a school teaching subject. (vi) Teaching subjects must have been counted in awarding the division at graduation level.
