IBPS Clerk

Eligibility Criteria: –

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification(As on 21.07.2022)

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a  University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government is necessary if you want to apply for IBPS Clerk recruitment 2022.

The candidates must possess a valid Mark-sheet/ Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while applying online for IBPS Clerk Exam 2022.

IBPS Clerk Computer Literacy

Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory, i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the High School/ College/ Institute subjects.

• Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/ UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/ UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply for is preferable.

• Ex-Servicemen who do not possess the above civil examination qualifications should be matriculated Ex-Servicemen who have obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces.

IBPS Clerk Age Limit (As on 01.07.2022)

• Minimum age limit: 20 years

• Maximum age limit: 28 years

 

IBPS Clerk 2022 Selection Process

No interview process is required for the selection of the post of IBPS Clerk. 100% weightage is given to the result of the mains exam result. Candidates who will qualify in Online Preliminary Examination and be shortlisted will have to appear for Online Main Examination. This Examination system of IBPS comprises of Common Recruitment Process- Online Preliminary & Online Main Examination.

IBPS Clerk 2022 Exam Pattern

The IBPS Clerk Exam 2022 will be held in two stages: Prelims and Mains. The IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern is given below. The Prelims Exam will be of 100 marks of 1-hour duration while the Mains Exam will be 200 marks of 160 minutes.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2022 Highlights

1. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question.

2. IBPS Clerk  Exam will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions in both Mains and Prelims.

3. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.

IBPS PO

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts an online examination to recruit Probationary Officers for multiple public sector banks operating in the country.

 Eligibility Criteria: –

A candidate who wants to appear for the upcoming IBPS PO exam should check that they. Also, consider the age relaxation provided for the IBPS PO examination in the notification of IBPS PO. The candidates will be selected through Prelims, Mains, and Interview round conducted by IBPS for the recruitment of the IBPS PO Exam.

Nationality :-

The applicant for applying for the IBPS PO exam could be:

• A Citizen of India

• The subject of Nepal or Bhutan

• Tibetan refugee who permanently settled in India prior to January 1, 1962

• Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Zaire, or Zambia with the intention of residing in India permanently. 

Educational Qualification :-  

An applicant possessing a graduate degree (such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech.) from a recognized university.  Please note that the degree or marks should be obtained on or before the date (to be issued). Also, candidates possessing degrees equivalent to the mentioned qualification are also eligible .

Knowledge of Computers– As the exams are now conducted online, candidates need to know the basic working of the computer.

Language Proficiency– Verbal and written knowledge of the state/ UT is desirable.

IBPS PO Age Limit (as on 01/08/2022)

An applicant aiming for the IBPS PO examination should be between the age of 20 years and less than 30 years.

Selection Process:-

The candidates will be appointed on the basis of their performance in the three stages of the IBPS PO Exam 2022. There are three stages of the IBPS PO Exam.

1. Prelims Exam

2. Mains Exam

3. Interview

In order to get selected in the IBPS PO, the candidates will have to score a section cut-off as well as an overall cut-off. The selection process of the IBPS PO exam requires the qualification of each stage in order to get finally selected into the IBPS PO exam . The prelims round of the IBPS PO exam is qualifying while the mains exam of IBPS PO requires the minimum cut-off marks to appear for the interview round..

IBPS PO Interview

The interview is the final stage of the IBPS PO Exam.

  • Candidates qualifying with good marks in Prelims and Mains of IBPS PO  exam will finally be appearing for the interview process.
  • The interview round of the IBPS PO exam is 100 marks.
  • The final score obtained by candidates in the IBPS PO exam is calculated by IBPS with the weightage of marks given to the main examination and interview the ratio of 80:20 respectively.
